Police say a person was shot and killed in Ocala; a cash reward is being offered for information

OCALA, Florida. – Police say a person was shot and killed in Ocala on Saturday night.

Officers arrived at the 1500 block of NW 20th Avenue around 10:38 p.m., where the person was found dead, Ocala police said on social media.

Investigators believe there is no danger to the community, the post says.

Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to contact police at 352-369-7000 or online at 352-368-STOP (7867) or **TIPS to remain anonymous.

There may be a reward of up to $3,000 for information to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest in this case, police said.
