Weather warning: Storms over for now | WETM

The rough and tumble weather is now just a memory. The strong storms have moved out of the Twin Tiers and will stay away until the weekend. The kids finishing up their school year this week have a nice Thursday and Friday to start their summer vacation off right.

A sunny but cooler air mass sets up camp ahead of the weekend as high pressure comes into play for at least 48 hours. Then another storm system moves in, possibly producing a few more thunderstorms and showers on Saturday and early Sunday. Clouds will clear and sunshine will return as July and the long bank holiday weekend begin. Highs on Thursday will be above 25 degrees and lows just under 10 degrees, perhaps even isolated 8 degrees and fog in the early hours.
