Predictions for the 2025 NCAA Tournament see Miami in eighth place; First warning: June 25, 2

Joe Lunardi has released his second early prediction for the 2025 NCAA Tournament and sees the Hurricanes finishing eighth.

The Miami Hurricanes missed the tournament last season after reaching the Final Four the year before. This year they lost to the eventual champion UConn Huskies and most of their players have either been drafted, graduated or transferred to the NBA. This season they have a chance to return with an impressive resume.

The Hurricanes had the Jim Larrañaga-led team seeded sixth in Lunardi’s first prediction before dropping them in the final predictions. Much is expected of the Hurricanes to bounce back after their disappointing season, and this could be their chance to get back into the national spotlight, as they can be.
