The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced in the early hours of Sunday that it had attacked a key target in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) in the southernmost part of occupied Palestine with drones.

The operation was a sign of support and victory for the people of Palestine and the Gaza Strip and part of the country’s commitment to fight the Israeli occupation. Israel announced that it would continue to attack Israeli strongholds.

Previously, the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) had announced two joint operations with the Iraqi resistance movement against five ships bound for Israel.

In a statement, the YAF said the first military operation targeted four ships in Haifa port, including two cement carriers and two general cargo ships dispatched by companies violating Yemen’s ban on ships heading to occupied Palestinian ports.

The second military operation targeted the ship Shorthorn Express in the Mediterranean Sea, which was en route to the occupied port of Haifa.

Attack drones were used in both operations, and the statement confirms that direct hits were made.

The Yemeni armed forces reiterated that they would continue to cooperate with the Iraqi resistance and conduct joint operations to support the Palestinian people and help them achieve victory until the aggression ends and the blockade of the Gaza Strip is lifted.
