MIPD investigates accident with personal injury | Mercer Island Reporter

On the evening of June 18, an adult male motorist suffered a medical emergency in the 5000 block of West Mercer Way and his vehicle came to a stop off the side of the road, according to the Mercer Island Police Department (MIPD).

His condition has not been publicly released and no one else was injured, the MIPD said.

The road near the accident site was closed in both directions for investigation and reopened at around 9:40 p.m. that same evening.
