Police search for suspect who is said to have stolen bicycle from parked car

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – Police are searching for a man who allegedly stole a bicycle from a downtown Bakersfield convenience store.

The suspect was observed stealing a bicycle from the victim’s car, which was parked outside the 7-Eleven at 20 South H Street, on May 27. Details of the alleged robbery were confirmed by witness statements, according to Bakersfield police.


BPD released photos and a description of the suspect Wednesday morning.

Investigators describe the suspect as a bald man, between 30 and 40 years old, of medium build. During the alleged robbery, he was wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
