The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that it had carried out a drone operation against a key target in the Israeli-occupied port of Haifa.

This is done “as a continuation of our path of resistance against the occupation, in support of our people in Palestine and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping power against Palestinian civilians, including children, women and the elderly.”

Regarding the impact of Iraqi operations against the Israeli occupation, Israeli media on Monday released new details about the drone attack by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq on the Israeli naval base in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), more than two months after the attack.

Amir Bohbot, military correspondent for the Israeli website Wallareported that the details released so far suggest that the drone, launched from Iraq in late March, hit the naval base in Eilat and crashed near a Sa’ar-6 class corvette.

The military correspondent explained that just one day after the explosion of a suspicious object in the Eilat area, it was allowed to be published that a drone launched from Iraq had hit the naval base in the area and caused damage.

He pointed out that the Islamic Resistance in Iraq issued a statement on the same day claiming responsibility for the attack on a target in Eilat.

The Wait! The news website lamented the precision of the Iraqi drone attack, despite an Israeli missile boat being equipped with the Barak-1 automated weapon system, which can hit targets with 100% accuracy. It pointed out that the failure of the Israeli navy and air force to intercept the drone drew criticism within the Israeli army.
