Rain returns at the weekend

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – More changes this weekend

A wonderful end to the week with plenty of sunshine on Friday and temperatures between 27 and 30 degrees in the afternoon. It won’t be nearly as humid as the last few days, so expect a much more pleasant day overall!

Tonight will be partly cloudy and cooler, with lows between 13 and 16 degrees Celsius until tomorrow morning.

THIS WEEKEND

A few light showers will move through the Mid State on Saturday, mainly in the morning and early afternoon hours. It won’t be anything that will spoil our Saturday, we just need to be prepared for a brief shower in parts of the Mid State. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny, with temperatures back in the 30s.

There will be more rain late Saturday evening with thunder. Lows will fall to 18 to 20 degrees by Sunday morning.

A few showers and rumbles of thunder will stay with us into Sunday. I don’t expect it to be soaked all day, and we should find some decent dry hours throughout the day. Still, keep your umbrella handy in the afternoon. Most of the rain should be gone by evening, and temperatures on Sunday will drop to below 27 degrees.

NEXT WEEK

The sun returns on Monday, with maximum temperatures around 27 degrees in the afternoon.

On Tuesday it will be warmer and partly cloudy with temperatures around 30 degrees and slowly increasing humidity.

Temperatures will remain around 30 degrees on Wednesday and rise to over 30 degrees by Thursday afternoon. We can expect isolated showers on both days, but it looks mostly dry.
