Nearly 50 people arrested by San Jose police in a raid on sexual assault charges

According to a statement from the San Jose Police Department, nearly 50 people were arrested in violation of sex crimes warrants within three months.

The raid, which lasted from February to April, resulted in the arrest of a total of 46 people suspected of committing a range of crimes, from minor sexual assaults to serious cases of sexual assault of minors and rape, police said in a press release on Tuesday.
