On January 4, 2023, Rockview PSP officers were contacted by a relative of the victim about Slavskiy’s sexual abuse. The victim told the relative that Slavskiy sexually assaulted and raped her almost every time he was in the victim’s presence between 2017 and 2022, according to the criminal complaint.

The alleged rapes occurred at least twice in Erie in 2022, when the victim was 11, and several times in Centre County, including in Pleasant Gap and Spring Mills, according to the indictment.

The complaint states that at least one of the assaults occurred when the victim was 13 years old.
