Police say a man was killed when his vehicle crashed into a telephone pole in Lancaster County. On Monday, May 27, at 7:59 p.m., emergency crews responded to a car crash in the 400 block of West Lincoln Avenue. According to the Lititz Borough Police Department, the male driver was the only occupant of the car that struck the telephone pole. The man was transported by ambulance with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. The driver’s identity has not yet been released. The crash remains under investigation. Investigation findings at the scene indicate the vehicle was traveling eastbound on West Lincoln Avenue before entering the westbound lanes and striking the pole. According to the Lititz County Police Department, the male driver was the only occupant of the car that struck the telephone pole.

The man was taken away by ambulance with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead in hospital.

The identity of the driver has not yet been disclosed.
