Tamar Braxton explains why she rejected the offer to join ‘RHOA’

Tamar Braxton has no time for “Real Housewives” antics.

The singer, 47, said she turned down the opportunity to join “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” because there was “just no way I was going to sit down and put on a wig and get beat the face to chat with a bunch of bitches.” about nothing.”

Despite refusing to join the show, Braxton said she was still a fan of the show.

The Bravo franchise has recently undergone some changes, resulting in the addition of several new cast members.

In February, Bravo announced that Porsha Williams would return to the series for season 16. The network also revealed that Brittany Eady, Kelli Ferrell, Angela Oakley and the Housewives’ longtime friend Shamea Morton Mwangi will also become full-time housewives this season.

They join returning peach holders Kenya Moore and Drew Sidora.

Cynthia Bailey will also appear as a friend of the housewives this season.

The series recently said goodbye to OG Housewives Kandi Burruss, Sheree Whitfield, who returned to the series for Season 15, as well as Sanya Richards Ross and Marlo Hampton following the Season 15 reunion.

According to the podcast host and Braxton, the answer to saving “RHOA” doesn’t lie in adding new faces.

King claimed the series needed to focus on bringing back more OG housewives like Nene Leakes, who left the show in September 2020.

King also speculated on why Zolciak did not return to the show as a full-time housewife, saying she “doesn’t have a connection with the girls like she used to.”

“We all know the best season of ‘Housewives’ Atlanta is season 6 and season 9,” he told the room.
