Seven dead in Ukrainian rocket attack on Belgorod, Russia

Russia said Ukraine used Tochka ballistic missiles, Adler and RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket missile systems in the attack.

“Fragments of one of the launched Tochka-U missiles damaged a residential building in the city of Belgorod,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.

However, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, believes that the apartment was leveled in a direct hit.

Mr Gladkov said 62 apartments in three blocks were damaged.

“Rescue teams are at the scene of the accident in full force,” he said.
