Pedestrian was struck and killed in Goshen Township early Sunday morning

A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Goshen Township early Sunday morning, according to the Ohio State Patrol. Troopers said they responded to a pedestrian-vehicle accident at about 1:53 a.m. Sunday on State Route 28, at milepost 10. Officials say the preliminary investigation indicates a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by an 18-year-old was traveling eastbound on SR 28 when he struck Jacqueleine Rogers, 41, of Loveland, who was standing in the roadway. According to OSP, Rogers suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Bethesda North Hospital, where she later died. According to authorities, the driver was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. Police say they were assisted at the scene by Goshen Township Police, Goshen Township Fire Department and Day Heights Towing. The crash remains under investigation, according to .OSP.
