Buffalo City Council Approves Permit Fee Waiver in Split Vote – Sheridan Media

The Buffalo City Council has approved a request from the Buffalo Trap & Skeet Club for a building permit fee waiver for a proposed new building to be constructed on city-owned land in the shooting range complex near the wastewater treatment plant.

Buffalo Trap & Skeet Club representative Jim Dawson appeared before the board at its last regular meeting to request a fee waiver.

City building inspector and planner Terry Asay told council the amount to be removed from the building permit would be $1,612.80; the water tap and sewer tap fees would be $2,500 each for a total request of $6,612.80.

The council voted to waive the fee, with Councilwoman Myra Camino voting against.
