Austin police are investigating a shooting at a North Austin apartment

AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Police Department (APD) is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a North Austin apartment complex Thursday evening.

Limited information was available as of Thursday evening, but APD said the shooting occurred at the Canyon Ridge apartment complex.

There is currently no information available about the shooter or the deceased victim.
