UPDATE: Victim of fatal Fall River van crash identified

FALL RIVER, Massachusetts (WLNE) – The victim of a fatal box truck crash in Fall River has been identified by the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.

Jean Revil, 67, of Dartmouth, was killed Wednesday when the 25-year-old driver of a box truck backed the truck, striking both Revil and a 64-year-old Bristol man.

The incident occurred at approximately 12 p.m. at 214 Joseph Drive.

The driver, two victims and three other people were all at the address to pick up a dresser as volunteers or employees of My Brother’s Keeper, which organizes the delivery and collection of donated furniture.

The injured Bristol man was listed in critical but stable condition at Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fall River Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
