Gas station employee killed in robbery in southeast Houston

HOUSTON – A gas station clerk in Houston was shot and killed during a robbery Wednesday morning.

The murder occurred shortly after the employee opened the gas station at 6600 Mykawa Road in southeast Houston. The incident was reported at 10:55 a.m. and authorities said the victim was already dead when they arrived at the scene.

KPRC 2’s Bill Barajas spoke with Houston Police Department officials Wednesday afternoon. They told him they currently have no information on the suspected shooter but would provide more after reviewing surveillance footage from the store.
