Heat illness causes accident in Branmar parking lot | Latest from WDEL News

Delaware State Police said a 74-year-old woman experienced a heat-related emergency while driving in the Branmar Plaza parking lot on Tuesday morning, July 9, 2024.

Police said the woman’s SUV collided with several vehicles, causing minor damage and causing her to pass out.

Talleyville Fire Company paramedics and New Castle County paramedics treated the woman at the scene before she was transported to the hospital.
