Reward offered for catching Cleveland girl’s killer

CLEVELAND – Days after a 10-year-old girl was shot and killed in Cleveland, the United States Marshals Service’s Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force announced it is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information on the suspect.

The shooting that killed Gracie Griffin occurred on Thursday, July 4, around 7:10 p.m. in the 3200 block of West 125th Street, near Triskett Road.

After the shooting, Gracie was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, where she later died from injuries sustained in the shooting.

Witnesses had previously told 3News they heard about a dozen gunshots, which they initially believed were fireworks, before someone started screaming in the middle of the street.
