* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Boonville.

* WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Low-lying rural areas along the river
flood.
At 23.8 feet, Easley River Road and Smith Hatchery Road begin to
flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:04 PM CDT Monday the stage was 22.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 11.5 feet
Monday, July 22.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northeastern Boone County in central Missouri...

* Until 1130 PM CDT.

* At 835 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Murry.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas,
Calhoun IL, Greene IL, Jersey IL, Macoupin IL, Madison IL and
Montgomery IL and Missouri, including the following areas, Audrain
MO, Boone MO, Callaway MO, Cole MO, Franklin MO, Gasconade MO,
Lincoln MO, Moniteau MO, Montgomery MO, Osage MO, Saint Charles
MO, Saint Louis City MO, Saint Louis MO and Warren MO.

* WHEN...From 1 AM CDT Tuesday through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches are expected within the watch
area with locally heavier amounts which will lead to flash
flooding along with rises along local rivers.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 23.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 AM CDT Monday was 24.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.0
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
this evening.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
