Police investigate murder in Fenton Township | Crime

FENTON TOWNSHIP, Michigan (WJRT) – Investigators are investigating the death of a 33-year-old man in Fenton Township.

Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson reported that the incident occurred around 3 p.m. Saturday at a home near Thompson Road and Jennings Road.

Swanson said the case is being treated as a homicide after there were reports of gunshots in the area, but there was no further threat to the community Saturday night. A Michigan State Police crime lab was on the scene.

As part of the investigation, authorities are looking for a newer model orange Chevrolet Camaro. Anyone with information should contact the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department.
