One dead after motorcycle accident on Louisburg Road in Raleigh

According to Raleigh police, one person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday evening.

At approximately 9:34 p.m., Raleigh Police responded to a crash at the intersection of Louisburg and Fox Road.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The southbound lane of Louisburg Road at Fox Road is currently closed. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

The investigation is ongoing and further information will be released as it becomes available.
