Police investigate after discovery of cartridge cases in West Palm Beach

Seven separate shootings were reported to police on Wednesday evening.

A 17-YEAR-OLD FROM THE TREASURE COAST IS ARRESTED AFTER OFFICERS CLAIMED HE BROUGHT A LOADED GUN TO SUMMER SCHOOL. THE SAINT LUCIE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS EMPLOYEES AT FORT PIERCE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL ALERTED THE PUTIES AFTER SMELLING MARIJUANA COMING FROM ONE OF THE BATHROOMS. THE PUTIES USED SURVEILLANCE VIDEO TO IDENTIFY THE STUDENT, WHO WAS COMING FROM LINCOLN PARK ACADEMY. WE WERE TOLD THERE WERE NO THREATS AND NO OTHER STUDENTS WERE INVOLVED. PORT SAINT LUCIE POLICE ARE NOW WORKING WITH WALMART TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF RETAIL THEFTS IN THE TOWN. THIS COMES AFTER POLICE NOTICED A TREND THAT FROM JUNE 2022 TO MAY OF THIS YEAR THERE WAS A 534% INCREASE IN RETAIL THEFTS AT THREE WALMART SUPERCENTRES IN PORT SAINT LUCIE. THESE LOCATIONS ARE RIGHT ON SCREEN. POLICE SAY MOST OF THESE THEFTS ARE SO-CALLED SKIP SCANS. THAT’S WHEN SOMEONE INTENTIONALLY SKIPS SCANNING ONE OF THE ITEMS IN THOSE SELF CHECKOUT AREAS. SANDRA. Police investigate after discovery of cartridge cases in West Palm Beach

Seven separate shootings were reported to police on Wednesday evening.

West Palm Beach police are investigating several shootings that were fired in the city Wednesday night. One of the shots occurred near the 4900 block of Pinewood Drive. Police say there have been no arrests, but they have recovered a number of shell casings as evidence. No injuries were reported. West Palm Beach police are investigating whether multiple shots were fired in the city Wednesday evening.

Among other things, shooting took place near the 4900 block of Pinewood Drive.

According to police, no arrests have been made so far, but numerous cartridge cases have been seized as evidence.

No injuries were reported.
