Hamilton County SWAT incident solved in Ooltewah

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a SWAT incident Thursday morning.

HCSO posted on social media that the incident occurred near the 9200 block of Cobblestone Hill Drive. This location is located just off Ooltewah-Ringgold Road.

At that time, around 8 a.m., officers asked drivers to avoid the area.

Additionally, HCSO asked residents to shelter in place until further notice.

At around 10 a.m., the sheriff’s office said the SWAT incident had been resolved.

The residents no longer had to seek shelter on site.
