Due to an accident, the westbound lane of the Chautauqua Lake Bridge is closed

BEMUS POINT, NY — A crash involving a tractor-trailer and a car closed the westbound lane of the Chautauqua County Veterans Memorial Bridge for about two hours Tuesday evening.

According to NITTEC, the accident was reported at 7:19 p.m. and later resolved at 9:37 p.m.

Bemus Point and Ashville fire departments, along with Chautauqua County EMS, arrived at the scene.
