Videos apparently show that Rick Ross was attacked after the Vancouver Festival

Rick Ross was apparently attacked on Sunday night (June 30) after his performance at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, BC. Video footage posted online appears to show Rozay being hit from behind, which leads to a fight.

Accordingly TMZThe Biggest Boss finished his performance at around 10:30 p.m. local time and was just about to leave the main stage when he was punched. Video shows Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Not Like Us” blaring from the venue’s speakers as Ross argues with Toronto native 6 God.

Punches were thrown as the situation escalated. Another video From a comradeship perspective, one of Rozay’s accomplices was seen being knocked unconscious and taken to safety.

“White boy,” someone is heard shouting, which could be a reference to Rozay’s nickname “Drizzy” in his diss track “Champagne Moments.”

Ross told TMZ on Monday morning that no one was seriously injured, adding that he “can’t wait to go back” to “beautiful” Vancouver, BC

Ross also posted a photo of himself laughing in front of a private jet on Instagram Stories on Monday morning (July 1). “Vancouver, it was fun. See you next time,” he captioned the photo.

Billboard has contacted representatives of Rick Ross, the Ignite Music Festival and the Vancouver Police Department.

50 Cent wasted no time in poking fun at his rival Ross, posting on Instagram an alleged clip of Ricky making a “great escape” to safety as the brawl came to an end. “LMAO THE GREAT ESCAPE! MEEKA CALL THE CHASERS THEY’RE CHASING ME. LOL,” he captioned the post.

Drake, who was not involved in the incident, liked a post on Instagram by Keep6ixSolid summarizing Sunday’s altercation, which apparently involved Rozay.

It’s unclear what sparked the feud earlier this year between Drake and Ross, who have worked closely together for the past 15 years. Drake had blasted Ross in his diss track “Push Ups” in April, and Rozay retaliated with his diss “Champagne Moments,” in which he claimed the OVO boss had undergone a nose job and continued to call him “BBL Drizzy” because of the alleged plastic surgery.
