Police are asking for help locating the man wanted in the Riverhead burglary investigation

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the man wanted in connection with a home invasion in March.

A man broke a basement window and entered a renovated home at 619 West Main St. in the evening hours of March 15, police said. According to the police report, he stole more than $3,000 worth of tools.

The man was described by police as being Hispanic, about 30 years old, 1.70 meters tall and of stocky build.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the website P3Tips.com or the P3 Tips mobile app.

All calls, text messages and messages are treated confidentially, police said.
