Pedestrian killed in Bay County accident

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – A 61-year-old man has died after colliding with a truck in Panama City.

On Sunday at around 10:40 p.m., a pickup truck was traveling in the northbound lane of County Road 2315 when it struck a pedestrian who was also traveling northbound.

The force of the impact threw the pedestrian into the mailbox of a house on Star Ave.

He succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced dead at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Hospital.
