Share Go long

Half a decade of heartbreak convinced Brandon Beane that a major change was needed on this Buffalo Bills roster.

Granted, this was a $41 million team in the red entering the new league year.

But as Bills GM detailed to Go Long in a one-on-one conversation, the team sees immense value in reinventing the roster around quarterback Josh Allen. They are counting on the emergence of new leaders. The best scenario for Buffalo? An evolving head coach reflects an evolving roster. We will see. There is a risk. With minicamp in the rearview mirror and training camp next, we’re trying to determine if all of these changes are for good. There are psychological benefits.

Ownership is maintaining belief in Sean McDermott.

The pressure to win – now – will always be on with Josh Allen.
