San Mateo shooting investigation underway – NBC Bay Area

Due to the investigation into a shooting, a curfew has been imposed in the area around Hillsdale Boulevard and Norfolk Street in San Mateo.

San Mateo police announced Thursday evening that a gunshot victim was found in San Carlos. Police initially told NBC Bay Area that there were two victims.

Meanwhile, an aerial photo from NBC Bay Area’s SkyRanger showed police activity in Millbrae. The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said it was an isolated incident involving a single vehicle.

“An adult was found in the vehicle with injuries before being transported to a local hospital,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release.

Aerial footage from SkyRanger also showed police activity in the area of ​​Holly Street and El Camino Real in San Carlos.

San Mateo police said investigators were on scene at both locations.

“We are aware of potentially related incidents in Millbrae and San Carlos. Investigators at all locations are working to determine if there is a connection,” San Mateo police said in a Nixle alert.
