Man killed in house fire at Bensalem trailer park Friday – NBC10 Philadelphia

A man died when a fire ravaged his home in a Bensalem mobile home park Friday night, officials say.

Bensalem Township Police, along with the Bensalem Fire Department and volunteers from other fire departments, responded to the Top of the Ridge mobile home park on Gibson Road around 5 p.m.

After the fire department had extinguished the flames, SkyForce10 was above the fire site.

The house was charred by the fire and the house next door was also damaged.

According to police, 45-year-old Joseph Stadler died in the fire.

No one else in the homes was injured, but one firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation and released from the hospital.

While investigators say the fire started in the living room of the home, the cause is still being determined.

The Red Cross is working with residents left homeless by the fire.
