Silver alert issued for endangered man last seen in San Jose

(KRON) — The San Jose Police Department (SJPD) and California Highway Patrol (CHP) have reported a missing man. Jerry Louis, 75, was last seen around 5 p.m. Monday in the 5300 block of Dent Avenue in San Jose.

Louis is described as 5’8″ tall, 140 lbs. African American, bald with blue eyes, according to SJPD. Louis was last seen wearing glasses, a navy blue shirt with the words “Hope Services” on it, and navy blue pants.

The CHP has issued a Silver Alert. Authorities said Louis was on foot.

CHP said anyone who finds Louis is asked to call 9-1-1.
