ABC-7 First Alert: Hot Tuesday, temperatures rising to dangerously hot levels through Wednesday and Thursday

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – We remain under an ABC-7 Heat Warning. Today is going to be hot, with the highest temperatures we’ve seen so far this year expected for Wednesday and Thursday.

Today will be hot. We expect highs between 95 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit across the region. El Paso expects highs of 90 degrees Fahrenheit and Las Cruces expects highs of 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Most of the time there will be a light breeze, similar to Monday.

Our ABC-7 initial warning is in effect Wednesday. We expect highs between 104 and 106 beginning Wednesday.

Prepare for the heat! Bring water and find places to cool off!
