Manalapan woman killed in car crash in Old Bridge

OLD BRIDGE – Authorities are investigating a car crash that killed a Manalapan woman, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Police Chief Thomas J. Montagna of the Old Bridge Police Department.

Officials said authorities responded to the area of ​​Route 9 and Ferry Road at 1:05 a.m. Sunday after a fatal crash was reported. The crash involved multiple vehicles, officials said.

The driver of one of the vehicles involved, a BMW, was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick in critical condition. The passenger in the BMW, Kristina Godich, 31, of Manalapan, was pronounced dead at the scene.
