On May 30, ENHYPEN performed their hit song “Fatal Trouble” at M!Countdown. The pre-taping in the early hours of the morning was attended by 270 lucky fans. However, the event took a disturbing turn when reports of sexual harassment by some audience members surfaced.

Various attendees of the pre-recording shared their experiences on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that a fan shouted inappropriate and sexually explicit remarks during the event. One of the most disturbing incidents was a fan shouting “female orgasms” during the performance. The person responsible for the offensive remarks later apologized on X before deactivating their account.

The fan, known by the name 3g1ng, issued a public apology and admitted his inappropriate behavior. The apology read:

“Hello. This is 3g1ng. I apologize for hurting many people with my personal speech, unpleasant words, and rude behavior during the pre-recording of the M!Countdown on May 30th at 6am. The words in question, “female org*sm,” were shouted during monitoring time and were not aimed at any specific member. As for the words “I
“I’m horny” and “I’m horny” – I honestly don’t remember saying them because so much time has passed and the situation there was very hectic. Since there were people who said they heard it and it was my fault from the beginning, I would like to apologize. As for the people I chatted with during the recording, I met them during the recording and they are not my friends on X. Anyway, I sincerely reflect on all my reckless behavior and how I couldn’t recognize that I was being annoying. I apologize again to those who felt put off by this.”

The account was deactivated shortly after the apology was published.

The incident sparked outrage from other fans who were appalled by the behavior. Further details revealed that the offending fan had sneaked into the recording using another person’s ID, which violated the event’s rules that required attendees to be of legal age.

One user expressed their frustration by saying, “No, but what they said is problematic. I’m surprised at how stupid they are. They sneaked into the recording at dawn because children were banned there and then sexually harassed them, got angry at other members and even posted it as reviews on their account after the fact.”

In light of the harassment, fans have come together to demand better protection for ENHYPEN members, urging the group’s management company to implement stricter security measures and ensure the safety and well-being of the artists during public performances and recordings.
