According to police, a Volkswagen sedan was traveling north on Highway 25 when the driver crossed into the median where a semi-truck was properly parked. Police said the sedan struck the rear of the semi-truck and the driver died at the scene. The semi-truck was unoccupied at the time of the crash, officials said. The coroner identified the driver as John Eric Childs.

According to the police, the sedan crashed into the rear of the semi-trailer and the driver died at the scene of the accident.

The semi-trailer was unoccupied at the time of the accident, police said.
