» Incident of aggression in road traffic

Spencer, IA (KICD)–A Spencer man was charged with reckless driving Friday morning in what Clay County authorities say was a case of road rage.

Shortly before 7 a.m., 57-year-old Eric Langholz was turning left on 3400 Mile of 200th Avenue near the Beltway commercial area. 41-year-old Anthony Butler is said to have driven up behind him, then overtaken and maneuvered his vehicle in such a way that Langholz rammed him.

After the two vehicles collided, they drove into the driveway of a local business, where Butler’s vehicle spun around on the lawn.
There were no injuries. Butler was also charged with improper lane change.
