Motorcyclist killed in accident on the south side of Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – A motorcyclist died in a crash in southeast Indianapolis late Monday night.

According to an IMPD spokesperson, the motorcycle collided with a vehicle in the 8600 block of Southeastern Avenue. The accident occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition, but died a short time later.

Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident and is cooperating with investigators.
