Women’s soccer returns to Buffalo New York this weekend

This weekend, the FC Buffalo women’s team returns to the field to kick off their summer campaign.

Established just four years ago, the FC Buffalo women’s team is one of the best teams in the United Women’s Soccer League. The UWS is a pro-am league and is the second tier of the American soccer pyramid.

The team has made the state tournament once in the last three seasons, narrowly missing the tournament last year.

Team captain Carissima Cutrona has been with the team for four years and said there is a lot of talent on this year’s team.
