One shot, one dead in northeast Charlotte; murder investigation underway

CHARLOTTE, NC – MEDIC says a homicide investigation is ongoing after a person was shot in northeast Charlotte Friday night.

It happened in the 1300 block of Parkwood Avenue. A paramedic said one person died at the scene from a gunshot wound.

The CMPD is investigating the incident as a homicide.
