Law enforcement agencies stop activities of an illegal madrasa in Sokuluk district

AKIPRESS.COM – In Sokuluk district of Chui region, a madrasa was registered operating without registration with the State Commission for Religious Affairs, the State Committee for National Security reported on July 16.

In addition, the interdepartmental commission found architectural, structural and hygienic violations in the madrasa.

Seven children aged 12 to 15 who came from other regions studied at the madrasa. There was no curriculum at the institution.

The madrasa’s activities were suspended. The students were handed over to their parents. Protocols were issued against the organizers for violating the law on freedom of religion and freedom of association.
