White House Police Captain Arrested for Drunk Driving

SMITH COUNTY, Texas – A Whitehouse Police captain was arrested Saturday for drunken driving.

Arrest records show that 59-year-old Jereld Brewer was arrested Saturday and held on $500 bail in Smith County for DUI. Brewer was released Sunday.

A spokesman for the White House Police Department confirmed that Brewer is a captain with the Whitehouse PD. This story is currently developing. CBS19 will update this article as we learn more.
