2 suspects arrested after stabbing of man in Cleveland

CLEVELAND – Two suspects were arrested after a man was stabbed to death Saturday, Cleveland police said.

At around 7 p.m., officers responded to a report of a man being stabbed near West 3rd Street and Prospect Avenue. An initial investigation revealed that the victim and two suspects had been involved in a verbal altercation around 2 p.m. earlier in the day.

At around 7 p.m., all three encountered each other again, resulting in the stabbing of the victim. The victim was able to escape the suspects on foot and was tracked down by officers nearby. The suspects, who are related to each other, were arrested.

The victim’s condition is not yet known. Cleveland police did not release any further details. The incident remains under investigation.
