Crime in Houston, Texas: 2 men injured in shooting at taco truck

The argument escalated and the two men shot one of the victims in the stomach and grazed the other in the head, according to HPD.

HOUSTON — Two men were shot after getting into an argument with two other men in a taco truck after leaving a bar early Wednesday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.

It happened on Washington Avenue, east of TC Jester Boulevard, shortly before 3 a.m.

Police say the two victims got into an argument with two men at the taco truck. The argument escalated and the two men shot one of the victims in the stomach and wounded the other in the head, according to HPD. Both victims were taken to an area hospital and are expected to survive.

The shooters fled the scene, and police said the victims could not tell investigators what type of vehicle they left in.
