Shooting in Midtown: Man dies, woman injured

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – A man is dead and a woman injured after an overnight shooting in Midtown near Cooper-Young.

Officers said they responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of Felix Avenue at 12:20 a.m. A man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman was taken to Regional One Hospital in non-critical condition.

According to MPD, the suspect’s vehicle was a white mid-size SUV.

The investigation has not yet been completed.
