XL bully shot dead after attacking and injuring woman in Manchester | UK news

Police shot the dog after it attacked passersby and injured a woman. Officers were unable to control the XL bully before shooting him.

A large bully dog ​​was shot dead by police after attacking someone and injuring a woman in Manchester.

According to a statement from, officers were called to a residential street in Eccles after receiving reports of a “dangerously out of control” dog Greater Manchester Police.

A video of the incident shows officers shooting the dog as it runs down the street.

A man can be heard begging officers not to kill his dog.

The police said that the officers and citizens were unable to regain control of the dog. Killing the dog was the “last option”.

“We understand the concern this is causing among the public, but our officers have a duty to regularly intervene in challenging situations to ensure the safety of everyone,” the statement said.

Two men were later arrested and detained after confronting officers.

The injured woman is still receiving treatment.

Earlier this month, 23-year-old Nicole Morey was attacked in Ireland by a XL Bully.

She had previously posted videos that appeared to show her as the owner of several XL bullies.

One of her dog videos is captioned: “But if one of us dies, I hope I die first.”

The video ends with the caption: “Love my family.”
