A man was killed in a car accident in San Jose on Monday morning.

The incident was reported around 8:25 a.m. in the area of ​​Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bailey Avenue

Police heard about a car overturned on the side of the road and when emergency responders arrived on the scene, they discovered a dead man at the scene, San Jose police said.

Santa Teresa Boulevard was closed from Bailey Avenue to Laguna Avenue for hours, but reopened around 2 p.m.

This is the 21st traffic fatality in the city this year.
