SOLON, Ohio (WJW) – Last week, a man was killed in an accident involving an asphalt rolling machine, according to police.

Solon police were called to an industrial area on Carter Street around 6:30 p.m. Friday for a report of an incident in a multi-tenant building.

A man who reportedly worked for a property management company and was helping with asphalt repairs came “too close to the edge” of an embankment, according to witnesses, police said.

The heavy steamroller he was operating rolled into the embankment and ran over him, police said.

The man was identified as 63-year-old Mark Rosinski of North Randall.
