Investigation begins after 33-year-old woman found dead in Ottawa

OTTAWA, Kansas (KCTV) – Little information is known about the causes of death of a 33-year-old woman who was found north of Ottawa over the weekend.

Ottawa, Kansas, police said that on Friday, June 21, at approximately 1:40 p.m., emergency personnel were called to the 600 block of East Logan Street for a report of a person dead.

When the rescue workers arrived, they said they found a 33-year-old woman dead. The investigation into the cause of death is still ongoing.

As of Sunday, police said the incident posed no threat to the public. Anyone with information about the woman’s death should report it to OPD at 785-242-2561.
